Warranty – Our Warranty is based on the following:
East Coast Power Savers provides that, if within Five (5) years from purchase date, this product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, East Coast Power Savers will repair or exchange the affected unit free of charge.
The warranty does not apply to damage caused by:
- Accidental mishandling, dropping or other types of physical abuse.
- Units which have been opened, taken apart or subjected to unauthorized repair.
- Units which have not been installed or used in accordance with installation instructions.
- Riots, civil disturbances, terrorism, war or acts of God.
This warranty does not apply to damages claimed in excess of the cost of a replacement unit, and although this warranty outlines specific legal rights, your actual rights may vary from state to state.
NOTE: No Warranty will be honored on any units purchased from retailers other than Authorized East Coast Power Savers Distributors.

East Coast Power Savers Guarantees you will see a 15% reduction on your electric consumption. After 180 days from the date of installation, if you do not achieve at least a fifteen (15) percent reduction for the same period of the previous year (based on same electric service without any major additions). You may return your equipment for a full refund of the product purchase price, less installation, shipping and 20% re-stocking charges.
The following proceedure must be followed to receive your return. All returns take 2-4 weeks to process.
- All returns of unused/unopened units must be received within seven days of purchase. After 7 days, units cannot be returned. No refunds will be issued.
- Buyers (using product) must contact us within sixty (60) days of purchase if saving percentage is not realized. Placement of units will be re-assessed and re-positioned. Failure to do so voids guarantee and refund will not be issued.
- After conferring with our staff concerning repositioning your units for five consecutive months without savings success, you must send a written request for a refund, along with the original receipt, and the following information:
- Original utility bills for six full billing cycles after the date of installation, original utility bills showing the same periods for the previous year. Bills must reflect Kwh consumptions and days billed per period. It will take approximately two weeks to review and verify the information submitted by the customer. Once the verification is complete we will schedule an appointment for removal of the product.
- East Coast Power Savers will remove your product only. There will be no patching of any area affected by the installation, ie. screw holes, stucco patch, painting touch up etc. It is the customer’s responsibility to repair any of these items.
- The product must not have been tampered with or damaged in any way. Any damage or tampering with the product or original installation will void any warranties and refund policies.
- Once the product is removed and verification of proper operation is completed (generally 2-4 weeks), the full refund price of the product (less shipping, installation and 20% re-stocking charges) will be sent to the original purchaser of the product in the form of a check.
- Please allow 2-4 weeks for total processing of a return request.
- Returns will be accepted on residential and non-commercial products only. Special ordered units, custom sized units and all commercial applications with installation are non-refundable and all sales are final.
- No refunds on wholesale case purchases.
